Whoah! Huh?
The Alamo Drafthouse has just bought the defunct 'Village
Cinema Art" and turning it into the "Alamo Drafthouse
North." They say they'll only run 1st run Hollywood fare
here, and save the "film buff" stuff for the downtown
location.
I have extremely mixed feelings about this. I wish
them well, they've managed to make some crazy ideas work before
and I'm sure they'll pull this one off.

I did a search for
pictures on the old Village but couldnt find any. I should have
known better that no one would be dorky enough to put up a web
page with pictures of a movie theater. Duh!
