Crispins G;overs "What Is It?"
The movie was strange, stranger and strangerer. It had a whole Downs Syndrome cast in bizarre fantasy sequences, very reminiscent of David Lynch. No real plot that I could figure out. Crispin was the nazi king of a land of retarded people, and Shirley Temple was God. Monkey masked women crawl out of the ground and give a cerebal palsey victim a handjob.
It was grainey and very student film-ey. If it didnt involve Crispin Glover I suspect it would have been dismissed as artsey super 8 student film pretentiousness.
I wanted to take Crispin Glovers picture before the movie, but Tim snapped at me. Apparently Crispin is VERY paranoid about bootleggers.
Later I got Crispin to sign a poster of him Ive had since college ( I stole it from the Glassboro State College student union, the entrance by Growth # 50)

Crispin got in a contract dispute over the sequels to "Back to The Future". They recycled footage of him (and used a body double) for parts 2 and 3. I heard Crispin sued. The end credits to "What is it?" said "this film does not endorse the murder of steven spielberg"
Whats his problem with steven spielberg?:
http://thecrispincorner.com/essay.html
"Is it possible that the Columbine shootings would have not occurred if Steven Spielberg had never wafted his putrid stench upon our culture, a culture he helped homogenize and propagandize?
Would the culture benefit from Steven Spielberg's murder, or would it be lessened by making him a martyr? Or would people then begin to realize their lives had become less banal and more interesting due to his departure?"

I also had Crispin sign the CD I just bought . I listened to it layer and realized that Jim Dunlop had the vinyl album back in Pitman. The Rap "Auto Manipulator" cracked me up.
"The Big Problem
does not equal
the solution.
The Solution equals Let It Be"
